Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role is her character of Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks of the USA Network series Covert Affairs and as Dr. Amber Volakis of the Fox show House. Anne Dudek is an American actress, best known for her performance as Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy movie White Chicks. She is also popular for her roles on television as The Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Dudek is a Massachusetts native who attended Northwestern University. It was in Northwestern that she received her debut acting role as Lura Grant in The Iphigenia Cycle. It was off-Broadway, situated in New York City. There she was awarded the Joseph E. CALLOWAY award for her incredible show. American Theater Magazine featured her as among the ten best young theatre performers to observe. Dudek went on to land the roles on TV and film. Matthew Heller, the talented actress and mother-of-two behind the camera was her husband from 2007 to 2016. Dudek is a Boston Massachusetts native born on 23rd March 1975. However, she was she was raised in Newton. In her early life, Dudek studied at Northwestern University and appeared in several stage shows. Dudek's Broadway debut came in Wrong Mountain on Broadway in 2000. The performance she made as a character in The Glass Menagerie earned her the Connecticut Critics Circle Award. Her next appearance on television was beginning with The Book Group, a British comedy-drama The Book Group. In the years since, she has appeared in several guest roles on television shows, such as Desperate housewives Friends The Way I Met Your Mother Charmed Bones Six Feet Under and Desperate Housewives. She also played Lucinda in the first episode of Psych. In the following episode, she was a high school teacher with an affair with one of her pupils on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek later landed a frequent role in House from its fourth season portraying Amber Volakis one of forty physicians being considered for consideration by Dr. Gregory House for permanent posts in his team. Amber Volakis' character continued to be featured throughout the entire series until it was killed off at the finale in House's Heart. House was later to see her in a different character in the five-season episode Saviors. Dudek was later seen on Mad Men playing the antagonistic neighbor of Alby grant Francine Hanon. Dudek joined Covert Affairs in 2010, playing Danielle Brooks. She is the sister to central character. Other film roles she has played comprise Tiffany Wilson (the cruise-line's heir) in White Chicks (2004) and Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
